Only The Greatest In The Game Of Life

For this project, I wanted to do a written piece to go along with a photograph that had been taken, saying it would be a part of a collection that people could read. The challenge itself was to write something inspired by the photograph I had taken and that would have the two connect. This would also be the 'cover piece,' as the photo I was given would be the same one for the cover. My solution was to write a free form poem reminiscing on my time in college and the feeling of moving on from it, something that carries multiple feelings at once and has multiple interpretations, much like the photo, given the subject and the scene captured.
